ISO 9001

Supporting an organization’s aims and objectives, an ISO 9001 QMS documents the processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives.

Medair has maintained an ISO9001 registration from an accredited certification body since 2015, and improving our quality systems year-over-year as we adapt to ever-changing industry best practices. You can have confidence and piece of mind knowing that Medair is exceeding the ISO9001 international quality management system standard.

Based on seven quality management principles, the ISO 9001 standard defines the way an organization operates to meet the requirements of its customers and stakeholders:

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 was created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as a framework for an environmental management system. It’s one of ISO’s series of management systems, such as ISO 9001 quality management system and the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system. These systems provide a framework of procedures and standards to continuously improve end-to-end services.

Environmental corporate responsibility is of vital importance for all modern organizations. Sustainability is a key consideration for customers, partners, and employees, so should be a pillar in any strategic business planning. The ISO 14001 can help integrate environmental considerations in top-level management decisions and processes.

The Medair team acknowledges that we are a member of the communities in which we work and understand the importance of keeping our planet a safe and healthy place for everyone to live in. We have gone above and beyond in ensuring we are an efficient and considerate member of our community through implementing an environmental management system that we can be proud of and is certified to be compliant with the ISO 14001 international environmental management system standard.

ISO 45001

The ISO 45001 standard is the internationally recognized standard for an Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS). While it shares some content and requirements with its predecessor, OHSAS 18001, the ISO 45001 standard adopts the Annex SL top-level framework of all new and revised ISO management system standards.

We at Medair are strongly committed to the health and safety of all our employees, clients, and the public in all areas we do business in. We have chosen to take an active role in implementing effective policies and procedures to ensure we live up to the ISO45001 international OHSMS management system standard.

Implementing an OHSMS enables an organization to:

Good Distribution Practices (GDP) is a quality system for warehouse and distribution centers dedicated for medicines. Internationally accepted pharmaceutical GDP regulations stipulate that distributors of pharmaceutical products must align their operations with the standards. The scheme ensures that consistent quality management systems are in place throughout your entire supply chain, from the early delivery of raw materials to the manufacturing plants, to the final shipment of finished drugs to the end user. An independent assessment of compliance against international GDP requirements is the most effective way to establish that your quality management system aligns with GDP guidance.

While many organizations in our industry work to maintain compliance with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) GDP standard, Medair takes this a step further through sourcing an independent assessment of our compliance to the GDP requirements. This gives our clients the utmost confidence that we practice what we preach and take these regulations very seriously, giving piece of mind that we treat your valuable products with the same level of care and attention as you do.
